Comprehensive Drainage Works

We utilize state-of-the-art equipment to diagnose and resolve even the most complex drainage issues efficiently.

Blockage Clearance

Professional clearance of internal and external drainage blockages using specialist high-pressure water jetting equipment. Powerful water jets are used to break down and flush away fat, grease, silt, debris and other build-ups, helping to restore the drain to a free-flowing condition with minimal disruption.

CCTV Surveys

Accurate diagnostic inspections providing clear digital footage of pipe conditions, identifying cracks or collapses.

No-Dig Technology

Advanced pipe relining that repairs damaged pipes from within, eliminating the need for costly and destructive excavation.

How it works

What we actually do down there

Drainage work happens out of sight, which makes it easy for people to be sold things they don't need. Here's each method we use, step by step, so you can see what you're paying for before you agree to it.

High pressure water jetting

A specialist nozzle is fed past the blockage, then high pressure water breaks it up and flushes the debris back towards the access point. The pipe walls come up clean, so the drain runs at full bore rather than just trickling again.

Flex shaft cutting

A high-speed rotating chain head scours the full inside surface of the pipe. It shifts what water alone can't: hardened grease, scale, roots and compacted debris. And it does that without damaging sound pipework.

Drain descaling

Scale and mineral deposits build up on the pipe walls over years and quietly narrow the bore until blockages become routine. Descaling takes the pipe back to its original diameter so the problem stops recurring.

CCTV drain survey

A camera on a flexible rod is fed through the drain so we can see the fault instead of guessing at it. You get the footage, still images of any defects and a written report, which is what insurers, landlords and pre-purchase surveys ask for.

Foul odour investigation

Foul smells can come from waste build-up, bacteria, faulty traps or escaping sewer gases. A CCTV inspection traces where it is actually coming from, so the fix is based on what we can see rather than a guess.

No-dig patch repair

A resin-impregnated sleeve is positioned over the damaged section, inflated against the pipe wall and left to cure into a hard, watertight lining. Cracks, holes and root ingress are sealed without digging up a drive or garden.

Root Removal

Invasive tree roots can cause devastating damage to sewer systems. Our specialist root cutting equipment restores full flow without damaging the structural integrity of your pipes.

Foul Odour Investigations

Foul drain smells can be caused by blockages, grease, waste, bacteria, faulty traps or sewer gases. We use CCTV inspection equipment to help trace the source, inside and out, then explain the cause and recommend the right fix to stop it returning.

Drain Descaling

In older cast iron and clay pipework, scale and hardened build-up narrow the bore until blockages become routine. Descaling takes the pipe back to its original diameter so clearing it stops being an annual event.

Why it blocked

Three things cause most of our call-outs

Nearly every blockage we clear comes down to fat, wipes or tree roots. Knowing how they build up is usually enough to stop the next one.

How fat destroys your pipes

Fats and oils go down the drain as liquid, then cool and set hard on the pipe walls. Everything that follows sticks to it.

How wipes cause blockages

Wipes flush easily but don't break down like toilet paper. They snag on joints and bends and catch everything that comes after them.

How roots damage your pipes

Roots find a hairline crack or a loose joint, get inside for the moisture, and keep growing until the pipe is blocked or broken.

The short version

Only three things belong down a toilet: pee, poo and toilet paper. Fats and cooking oil go in the bin once cool, never down the sink. And if you have mature trees near an older clay drain, a CCTV survey every few years will find root ingress long before it becomes an excavation.
